My great great great grandfather was William Dunlea who I believe came from Fermoy, County Cork. His son was John Dunlea from Ballyellis, Couny Cork who was married to Elizabeth Clancy. They were both born in the early 1800’s, probably about 1820, in Ireland. They were married in the Parish of Kilworth, County Cork on 2 February 1845 and one of the witnesses was Jeremiah Clancy. I am trying to trace connections and ancestors to William Dunlea and connections to Elizabeth Clancy.

I have a John Clancy born approximately 1858 but do not have any other specific details for him (i.e. date of death, marriage, etc.). The John Clancy I have was oldest brother to Anna, William and Joseph Thomas. Parents were Edward and Elizabeth. (John was listed in 1880 as living with father and siblings in Troy, NY.) If you find any connection, drop me a note. Good luck.
