John Clancy married Anne McNulty inSt-Sylvestre, Québec on Feb. 13, 1855 and lived in Inverness. John was the son of James and Mary Connegam-Cunningham. Anne was the daughter of Edward and Catherine McAnnenly who were married in Québec City in 1825 and lived in Megantic County, Québec.
I am looking for children of John and Anne. Did they stay in Quebec? Did they emigrated to US?
Thank you, Louise R.

Afraid not. While my Michael Clancy was also born in 1831 I have him in the USA through the 1860 Census. Thanks anyway.

I have only just seen your message. My Michael Clancy was born about 1831. He came to South Australia in 1856 with his wife Ellen and two children Cath and Patrick. Cath was born about 1854 and PAtrick about 1855. Does this tie in with your Michael?

In the 1881 Canadian Census, we find Michael Clancy a store keeper in Leeds, Megantic County married to Mary ?, wife , 35 years old from Ireland with children Michael, 9 years old, John F. 5 years old and Joseph 3 years old.
Was Michael son of James and Mary Cunningham? Did he have a brother John married to Ann McNulty and living in Inverness, Megantic Co., Québec.
