Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Annie Clancy Smith, who lived all her life in Flatbush, died Sunday at St. Francis Hospital, Manhattan, after a short illness. She was in her twenty ninth year and a member of St. Matthew's Church. She is survived by her husband, John, three brothers: Thomas, John, and William, and a sister. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon from the funeral parlors of James T Tracy 1597 Fulton Street. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.

Hi: William Clancy -whom I know if-was born in Lowell MA 04/1907 - and died 08/1983 - he was my father's first cousin- I believe he had children - but do not know who they are. Lowell is not far from Manchester NH - so it is possible he had children or grandchildren that lived in Manchesater - in fact I live in Manchester NH -if there was any other link I may be able to help you to make a connection. I am not sure if he was ever in Lowell. I know his father lived in Manchester NH and that at the time he and my mother we toghether they were in NH. I now have information that he died between 1971 and 1973 and that he was in his early 20's at the time. Any information would be wonderful.
