I am going to Scotland, Ireland and Wales in late August, early September with friends,(
father & daughter). They have been to Scotland many times;, she is making up our
itinerary and has found that many of our Boyd castles, towers, houses are now private
residences. I know that Dean Castle is open to visitors and Trabboch is a ruin. I'm
curious about the rest, can they be toured?
Law, Penkill, Portencross, Bedlay, Pitcon, Brodick, Old Slains, Glencairn, Badenheath,
Drumcal, Traquair, Trochrig.
also the list I saw had Edinburgh, is there another Edinburgh Castle that once belonged to
