We need donations of money (and Help) to clean up Old Lebanon Cemetery
in Monroe County, WV. Boyds have been buried there since 1803.
One Boyd line is the Thomas and Margaret Boyd family. Lots of Boyds
which include Andrew Ballentyne Boyd 1820-1888, his wife Catherine Wiley
Boyd1824-1895 Margaret Boyd (Dau. of Robert Boyd) 1790-1863, Thomas
1790-1878 and Jane 1818-1836.
A few of the surnames included in this cemetery include Young, Dickson,
Patton, Nickell, Boyd, Irons, Alexander, Humphrey, Porterfield,
are many others.
This cemetery was completely over grown and most stones were lying flat and
buried. A fence needs to be built to keep cattle out, Goats and sheep
are OK but
the cattle knock over the stones. Fence materials will cost $150 to $200.

I am interested in the Boyd's of Cecil Co. MD and Chester Co. PA especially Hugh Boyd d. 1754 in Chester Co. and may have attended Fagg's Manor church. Wife Margaret. Also, Alexander and his brother Francis Boyd of Cecil co. MD, possible children of the afore mentioned Hugh Boyd.
Is there any listing for this family group??
Jane in Ohio
