My grandfather passed away in 2/12 and took the "secrets" of his side of the family with him. He would NOT discuss his family so I am left to my own devices. My Great-Grandmother was Coletta (Havens) Glotzback. She was born to Lena Havens (I believe GG Lena was born Magdalene Guth). From what I've gathered, she was widowed from George Havens between 1906-1910 because the 1910 Census shows her as widowed. She disappears after that until I came across evidence that (by all dates, and all children with the same names and ages) suggests she later married George Clair renaming my GG Coletta Havens (and her brother Herbert Havens) to Clair. GG Coletta also had a sister named Mary, but she was born in 1897 and would have been out of the home before the Clair marriage. I also found a census that shows GG Coletta's brother, Herbert P, listed as a Havens with George & Magdalen Clair as the parents. I really want to know what happened to GG Coletta. There are 3 stories (so far) as to h!
ow she died. One is that she was murdered, somehow, by a train/car accident. It took me 44 years to finally find out why GG Leo Glotzback (GG Coletta's husband) was in the "asylum" from my Father. This is my last day on Ancestry, so I am begging ANYONE who can tell me ANYTHING to please email me at the below address. Thanks in advance.
Sincerely,
Brian Glotzback
