I apologize if no one has communicated with you about your response to our query.
I checked our ancestor file and couldn't find anyone with the surnames of DUNCAN or SIMMONS. However, our CLAIR/DELONG connection offers some possibilities that we might be related. My Great-grandfather, Frank CLAIR said that he was "of Gage County" (Nebraska) on his marriage license when he married Elilzabeth Jane MCMAINS in 1886 in Marysville, Kansas. We believe that he was born in Canada. We also have reason to believe that he used both surnames, CLAIR or DELONG during his lifetime, however short or long that might have been. We lost track of him when he left his family while residing in Exeter, Barry, Missouri in the early 1890's.
Our DELONG connection goes quite prominently into Canada.
"Our" Frank could quite possibly be the one that you mention in your message. Do you know where he and Georgia resided prior to their divorce?
Best wishes in your research.
David W. CLAIR
