Hi Kipp!
I have e-mailed you from another site but don't think that you ever got it.....A John CLAIR has answered a query of mine and said that my Samuel CLAIR is a brother of Preston and son of Philip CLAIR?!! He said there is another earlier marriage for Phillip? Do you know anything about this? He said that he would get back to me soon as he spends the summer with his grandfather in Lena, Stephenson Co. Illinois..He also told me that Samuel and his 2nd wife Mary Kaufman CLAIR are buried in a cemetery in Kent called Yellow Creek? or something like that...Anything that you could enlighten me with would be wonderful! Hope all is well...Thanks! Kathy Olden Berman
