Dorman and Smith Claiborne of Virginia the first 8 generations says, on page 6, "G.M.Claiborne "Claiborne Pedigree" lists a daughter Mary who married (1)__(2) Robert Harris but no record evidence has been found to support this. See also Malcolm Hart Harris, "Major Robert Harris of New Kent County, VA Was He Real or a Myth." I'll be glad to exchange more
info. I am descended through William Dandridge Claiborne(6), George (7) and Thos. Nelson (8)
