Leonore Ashley Claiborne, 78, Clarksville, died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007, at the home of her son.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Southern Belle Riverboat, Chattanooga, with the Rev. Byron Dumas officiating.
The remains are to be cremated.
Sykes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was born Aug. 26, 1928 in Chattanooga, daughter of the late Stacy and Louise Allender Ashley.
She was a customer service representative for a river boat company.
She is survived by two sons, Ashley L. (Joan) Claiborne, Clarksville; and Alexander T. Claiborne, Chattanooga; a sister, Judy Moore, of Athens, Tenn.; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
