I am currently looking for Dora Claiborne, husband to Anthony Claiborn. I have searched the Ancestry.com with little success. I know that Anthony married her and that she is on his death certificate, but I do not know where she finally rested. I know that she was living in Louisanna during the 1930's, possibly Washington, Ward 4.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
I am also looking for James Claiborne, he was the Informant on the death certificate for Mollie Claiborn, Anthony's first wife. Mollie last known address was in the old folks home in Caddo(Ward 4) in Shrevport LA. James' last known address in 1933 was 2325 Leslie Street.

Thanks!

I have an original postcard photograph of six adults, only three of whom are identified: “Jake Claiborne and wife Eula Lamb Claiborne, and her sister Elthea”, with the note “Jake was my daddy’s brother”. I would like to get the photo back to family members. It was taken in about 1910-1915, and all the people look to be in their 20s.
I found Jake Claiborne in the 1930 census for Beaver (Cotton Co.) OK, with DOBs for Eula of abt 1890 and Jake abt 1891. I found Eula’s DOB as May 1890, daughter of John and A. J. Lamb, in Coryell Co., TX, in the 1900 census. The 1890 DOB for Jake comes from the WWI Draft Registrations, where he said June, 1890.
Email me at margerice(a)prodigy.net if you are related to Jake Claiborne – Eula Lamb Claiborne.

I have an original postcard photograph of “William Clay Claiborne”, which I would like to get back to family members. Photo was taken in about 1915-1916, and he looks to be about six months old.
I found William C. Claiborne, son of Walter C. and Lillian, in the 1920 census for Strauss (Cotton Co.) OK. William was age 6. Still in Cotton Co. in 1930, but his name is Clay, age 16, and parents are Bart and Lilly Claiborne. SSDI for Clay Claiborne shows 18 Aug 1915, and he died in Bexar, TX 2003.
