Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Does anyone know the cost of hiring someone to assist me in finding my relatives? I just want to get a feel as to the cost.

Kevin, that's a good call out about Prince and Anthony being brothers. I have been pondering over Anthony being the offspring of Poline and Travis, I even have gone to Adams county and have pulled court records on Travis and found out that he was a share cropper and how he and his business partner, Henry Williams missed their quotta in 1870, and both were forced off the land by Joseph Evans.
I agree that the M1 appears that it suggests that the person was married once at the time of the assessment. However, I believe that Mollie Thompson was here married name from a previous marriage because I have a SSN application from my aunt that was not listed as one of the four sibblings listed. She was a half sister of my father. Her mother was Mollie Thompson but her father was Jack Thompson. So, what I have been really isolating my time on is Anthony because if Mollie, which I believe she was a Choctaw Indian, has another name other than Thompson, it will take a very long time to find out.
Kevin, thank you and everyone else who have been assisting me in making this happen. Please continue to assist, it makes me feel like I am not alone in this hunt!
I will continue to review the path on Prince and Anthony. It does sound logical.
If anyone is interested, I have a picture of Anthony and Mollie. I attempted to attached the file, but I don't think this list will allow pictures. Please let me know if you would like to see them.
Thanks!

I too looked at Ancestry.com census and time of marriage is 6 years
not 16. Mollie says she has 4 children, all of whom are living. The
census records 4 cildren. Census takers put a small numeral beside
the M for married. I believe it was to show how many times a person
was married. So, what you are seeing is M1, 6 or Married, once, 6
years. I doubt very strongly if Mollie would have been married at age 11.
Just about this family is the Middlebrook family, and the husband and
wife are shown as Ms, 20 and M1, 20 respectfully. Further down the
page is a Stewart family where the husband and wife are both listed as M1, 12.
So we need to find Anthony at age 22, single in 1900. Or, age 2 in 1880.
An Anthony Claiborne, son of Travis and Poline in Kingston, Adams Co,
is a good bet.
Others in the household are: Siblings, Elizabeth, age 9, Evelina, age
6; Maggie age 3 and Henderson age 1.
Travis is not found in Adams Co. 1870, but another Anthony is. Age
25 and living with a Sindy, age 100years old!!!! Living next door is
Prince, age 23 Could Prince and Anthony be brothers?

Where is "here"? There is a reference in Dorman that says Robert E
Claiborne (James 6, Buller5, Augustine4, Thomas 3-2,William1) ca 1819-1868
married Emily Ann Lanier 1809-1893 in 1842. She was the daughter of
Benjamin and Susan (Hunnicutt) Lanier. they lived in Early, Eatonton and
Putnam Co Ga.
There is more, but first lets see if this much is helpful.

Dan: I looked in Ancestry.com for you but found only the 1910 census
information:
Anthony Claiborn in 5 BT Adams Co. Miss.
age 32 Black married 16 years with Mollie age 27 Black m 16 yrs and
children Maggie dau. 4, Bull(?) son 3, Thomas son 2, James son 1.
If they had been married for 16 years...seems they would have older children
somewhere....
Tried soundex for the other years but had no luck. Sorry. You might want
to try Adams County Miss in the USGenweb.
Good luck.
