For January's roll call project, I would like to give you the URL to our
CLAIBORNE Message Board, and ask you to gather family information to post to
the board. I'll also include a couple of pointers on how to better utilize
the message boards.

Since the Rootsweb "gateway" system was put into place, posts to the
CLAIBORNE Message Board are automatically forwarded to our mailing list. The
system has proven quite successful and use of the boards continues to
increase.
The Message Boards have categories for various types of posts....

As you can see, the more we use the CLAIBORNE Message Board, the more
valuable a research source it will become. Post your information directly to
the board, and within moments the post will also appear on our mailing list.
However, PLEASE do not include information on living persons... just not a
great idea in general, and not really pertinent to our search for ancestors.
Also, since posts to the board will be seen by a wider circle of CLAIBORNE
family researchers, you may get responses from people who are not on our
mailing list. To be sure everyone sees the resulting discussions, you'll
need to respond directly to the message board....the URL will be in the post.
Continue posting your CLAIBORNE material to the message board throughout the
month of January, and lets see if we can make some new connections!
Thanks...take care, all,
LaRae
