Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Carol Washburn has done a superior job of extracting Claffy data from subject records ranging from 1821 to 1854, as shown on LDS film 1279227. She has listed the results at
http://www.geocities.com/joetbeagle2/Claffy_Clonmacnoise.html?200520
Note there is an underline mark between Claffy and Clonmacnoise in the above URL.
This is a good example of the valuable information that can be found in parish records which are available on film from your nearest LDS church library. It costs about $3.50 to rent the film for several weeks. If there is a parish you are interested in extracting Claffey information from, I will try to get the correct film # for you to order.
