Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Peggy, Thanks much for Gunning Information. I know it will be of interest to
some of our listers. Perhaps one or two of them will also answer your post.

Friends,
It has been a while since I gave you a CHP update. The web site and CLAFFEY
List have been growing and
so for our new members or for older ones who have not had an opportunity to
look in lately, will fill you in on what has been going on.
Our CLAFFEY-L(a)rootsweb.com now has a total of 32 subscriptions.
25 of you in list mode (receiving messages one at a time) and
7 of you in digest mode receiving grouped messages (as many as are posted
in any 24 hour period)
Since I subscribe to both L and D, in order to help stay on top of things,
that makes 30 of you. (GREAT !!)
Ann Claffee, our main contributor besides my self, has kept busy with many
additions. We now have her research on Claffeys in many states, and have a
"STATE BY STATE" section linked on cover page but also linked on it's own
index of states at URL
http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~camounts/ann_sts/sts_indx.html
Ann has added research on Claffey families in 11 states, now with more to
come. States included so far are
California, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Massachusetts, New York,
Pennsylvania, Rhode Island,
South Carolina and Wisconsin
Also, our number of contributors to the web site keeps growing. There are
now 13 of you along with Ann and me.
Newest contributor is Suzanne Grimes from Pennsylvania.
We have also added a Page 2 to Zo Newell research.
all are linked on cover or index page at URL
http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~camounts/indexc.html
Next new contributor will be Roy Claffey from Wales. Roy sent a CD with
his family information. As soon as I get it worked out, his information will
be there also.
Please take a look in and read the newest entries in Guest Book (And perhaps
add another one of your own)
Many folks just drop by to read the Guest Book.
Hope each of you in getting ready for Spring and a Happy St. Patrick's day
to all.
