Friends.
Have acquired from Ebay, a paper copy (suitable for framing) of "wonderful
map" of Washington Pa in 1897. Original was hand drawn on canvas by T. M.
Fowler. It is property of Library of Congress, Geography and Map Division.
Have placed it on "Washington Pa Nostalgia" web site and will be enlarging
portions of it to go on line on further pages.
http://freepages.school-alumni.rootsweb.com/~ebgschol/1897map.htm
There have been many changes in past 104 years but also many landmarks
remain the same.
Enjoy !! Carol M
This was on another list - thought you might enjoy it., Carol M
