Friends, For those of you with an interest in the evening sky..... I have
not yet seen any meteors reported to be visible this week but certainly did
get a great view of "The RED STAR"
Although not really a star, the planet Mars is the closest it has been in 12
years and shows up in southern sky as a very pretty red star.

SAFE TRIP -- Carol Mounts (list Admin)
> Dear Carol,
> I found some information at the Irish Ancestors website (Ireland.com, part
> of the Irish Times newspaper) that might be of interest to the list. They
> have a table showing the number of Claffey households in each county in
the
> Primary Valuation property survey of 1848-1864. The link is
> http://scripts.ireland.com/ancestor/surname/index. The distribution of
> paying households with the Claffey surname by county was:
>
> Dublin: 2
> Offaly: 21
> Westmeath: 31
> Galway: 1
> Roscommon: 5
