Fellow Genealogy Researchers,
Am forwarding a message received on another list from Kevin Frye.
Kevin has created a 'FANTASTIC' web site about ANDERSONVILLE Prison. He also
does free research for others. Now ! ! How often do you see that these
days???
Please take a look at his web site..... Carol Mounts

Vicki,
You 'probably' found what you are looking for but take a look in first and
see.
We host 2 companion web pages and a 'Nostalgia List'. Web addresses for the
two pages.....
A. "Washington Pa Nostalgia" at URL
http://freepages.school-alumni.rootsweb.com/~ebgschol/
Near bottom of cover page is a search engine that will find any name on the
web site.
Example: Name of soldiers who fought in World War I on the Washington World
War I (partial) lists of Veterans from Washington Co., Pa
....and
B. "Washington High School Nostalgia" at URL
http://www.school-alumni.rootsweb.com/~pa-washington-hs/index.html
This page has lists of graduates for Clarleroi class of 1939
and Wash High class os 1923.
THIS IS PROBABLY WHAT YOU SAW.......
Also on that web site cover page down near bottom is a link to instructions
on joining the Washington Nostalgia Discussion list sponsered by Rootsweb.
http://www.school-alumni.rootsweb.com/~pa-washington-hs/whspag2.html
We discuss all sorts of Nostalgia issues here, from hoola hoops, kites,
jacks and valenties to more serious subjects, such as ration coupons,
veterans and International Space Station.(ISS)
I have plans to add Seminary classes, other Wash High Classes including my
own (1947)
Other school pictures and churches and Buildings and streets are featured
also as well as a
'Nostalgia in the Making' section with pictures of recent Three Rivers
Stadium Implosion.
Hope to hear from you.

PS Would be very happy to publish you list of graduates from Ft Cherry High
School. More on that later...
> Hi Carol,
> Yes, I believe that I am looking for you, well, at least the
Washington
> Memories List that you host. What I am really looking for is a web page
> that I ran across once and didn't bookmark. There were various stories
> about Washington Co. and some info about schools. I believe that someone
> had posted a list of alumni from one (or more) of the county high schools.
> That interested me, as I have compiled a listing of the graduates of Fort
> Cherry HS, in McDonald, from its inception in 1960 until 1974. I had
wanted
> to offer the list to whomever was the webmaster of the site.
> I usuallly bookmark EVERYTHING, I can't imagine how I didn't
bookmark
> this. By any chance is this your page, or do you happen to know anything
> about it?
>
> Thanks for your time.

Friends, Cannot remember if I sent this out to you or not. It is real
neat. Carol
Click on the link below. Move your mouse around but don't click.
Make the image move around a little, and then stop. The clock assembles
itself and the time is right. A nifty bit of technology.

Friends,
For those of you wanting more information about various
Claffey/Claffee/Claffy families.....
May I suggest that you read again the 2 queries pages and the "Lost and
Found" pages, as well as submissions by new contribitors.
Many items are overlapping and we have not yet had a chance to cross
reference the entries.
You might find a long lost relative. If so, please let us know.
Regards Carol
