You search for a relative that you know died after about 1932/3. Include
as much info as possible. In list of possible connections, if you find
one that seems to "fit", then click on extreme right hand column. It
then directs you through printing of a form to send in to along with
$7.00. My results came back in about 5 weeks giving me a copy of
original application for Social Security in 1936 of my maternal
grandfather Perry. It included his signature, date of birth, both
parents names (including maiden name), address at time of application
and name of employer. Also listed age at that time. Seven Dollars well
spent.
