If you can find and share a picture of Martha Paine Dickson Clack, I will be DELIGHTED. Her brother, James Moulton, Dickson is my g-grandfather. I have a picture of Annie Virginia and James Moulton if you don't have those.
If you have a lot of old family pictures, do you also have one of Rowena Paine, their mother?
I made a trip to Giles Co, TN several years ago. I visited the Paine Cemetery, haunted the old records at the courthouse, visited other cemeteries, etc. I was so surprised that James Moulton sold the property he had there and moved to the land he bought in Hall Co, TX. What a difference!
Thank you for looking through your old pictures and for being willing to share.
Pat Kinsey

I just came across your post, expressing your interest in finding a picture of Martha Paine Dickson. I think I recall having seen a picture of Martha in some of our old family photos. Martha's sister, Annie Virginia Dickson, is my great great grandmother. I'll let you know if I locate this picture. If so, I'd be happy to get you a copy.

Anyone have ties to this couple and know when they died and where they are buried? They had no children. Lewis (b Jul 1847) was a Civil War vet (12 MS Cav, Co L) when he married Angeline L. "Angie" Coleman (b abt 1846). She is in the 1920 census as a widowed "inmate" in the Jefferson Davis - Beauvoir Confederate Soldiers' Home in Biloxi, age 74.
There IS a grave marker at the Beauvoir Cemetery marked "MRS. ANGIE CLARK, AGE 65 YEARS" - I visited there and photographed it. I suspect this is Angie Coleman Clack, with a mistake making her a Clark instead of a Clack. But would they have made a mistake in her age at death, too? Was there another inmate named Angie Clark? Emails and letters to the curators and management at Beauvoir have gone unanswered. What happened to Angie Clack??
