I am looking for information on the children of Sarah Clack Gravlee - she was born 24 Jan 1928 in Georgia, daughter of James Albert Clack and Fannie Maddox Clack. She died 17 May 1980 in Bakersfield, California. The names I have for the children may or may not be right. I think there were 4 - two girls and two boys, Joyce Ann, Barbara Jean, Gerald, and Ronnie. Would love to find them because they are my cousins. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello, John,
I tried to contact you directly but the system isn't allowing me to do that. Yes, I do have a small tidbit from a personal email that connects your family to Thomas Jefferson Gordon. A small bit may be just what you need!
"Margaret Elma Butler
b. 1859 in Iowa
d. 1938 in California
Married William Thomas Gordon in 1881. (They divorced in 1891 and he married again to Delaney Lou Lovell; Elma did not marry again.)
Elma Butler's parents were:
David Williams Butler (1831-1915)
Asenath Draper (1836-1924)
Married in 1852
William Gordon's parents were:
Thomas Jefferson Gordon (1834-1908)
Eliza Winn (1835-1916)
Married in 1857 in Iowa."
That's all I have specifically on that but otherwise I have about a dozen pages of notes on this bunch. Please email me directly at VanetteHobbs(a)aol.com and I'll be happy to share.
I still haven't been able to connect this family to mine genetically but the search has been interesting. Apparently they were very close friends.
Vanette

My name is John Gordon.
Elma Gordon was my great grandmother. One of her son's was Simeon Moore Gordon. He also went by his middle name of Moore. Moore met my grandmother Jessie Winchester in Beijing China wherethey were married and began to raise their family. My father was David Gordon.
I am interested in trying to trace the Gordon family to the parents of Thomas Jefferson Gordon. Do you have any knowledge about that?
If you want any more information, send me a note.

I am looking for a female with the last name Clack who was in Middlesex London Ontario and would have been about 15 in 1923 (born around 1907).
