I'm researching lines and have run into the Malvinia Clack (1745-1840) / Major
Clack Beavers (1781-1850) marriage.
Were or, if so, how were her Clack family and the Beavers family connected,
since his name was also Clack?
Thanks!

Just discovered that all the info in my Beavers document has disappeared.? Had a copy in another computer but that computer has gone out... I have a hard copy somewhere but will take some time to find.
I would be interested in knowing more about the Malvinia and Major Clack Beavers.? I will try and ck my paper files.
That Major if date is correct could be a brother to Spencers Beavers of Giles Co TN.
Sandy

The Beavers/Bevers family and the Clack family were connected in at least two generations of my line. I will have to check and see exactly how.
If you have access to "Clack and Kindred Souls As The Crow Flies" privately printed by Edna Clack Sachs in june 2001, you can see some of the connections
Also in "Taylor & Bevers Pioneer Families of Palo Pinto County, Texas" by Bobbie Ross, there is a section on Clacks as well, with their connections to the Bevers family.
I know of no copies for sale of Edna Clack's book, but Bobbie Ross's book is still for sale, although she died about 2 years ago. She lived in Gatesville, Texas so that library would have copy. I gave copies to some KY libraries, will have to check which ones.

I saw a posting on Roots Web dated 8 May 2002 (Suffolk L Archives)in which the member said 'Today I found the marriage of Samuel Clack & Elizabeth Simpson Filkins Broadwell 1725.
I have been trying to verify the marriage record but can't locate it.
If anyone with information about this marriage would contact me I would be very grateful.
Thank you for your time
Maureen
