I hope you were able to find the Tree. On the Roots site go to family trees and search for "William H. Clack Family Tree". I didn't get attachment from you so maybe they don't come through on the message site. My email is judge716(a)verizon.net. Maybe you could resend it to my email.
Thanks,
Margaret

I was writing a message to you and somehow lost the page so will try again (maybe you will receive two messages). I just downloaded the William H. Clack family tree so you should be able to get all info from there. How many children did Frank have and do you have any idea where other brothers and sisters ended up? My grandfather, Cecil, was the youngest in the family and Fred was two years older. They both settled in Western New York State. Fred, in Buffalo and Cecil in Lockport. I don't believe they knew where other family members were but they stayed in contact.
Do you know who William and Robina's parents were? I am really happy that we have connected.
Margaret.

My father Reginald Clack was born in England 10/11/12 and I have his certificate when he was baptized at St.Andrew's Church, District Lambeth sub district Stockwell, November 1912. My cousin recently traveled to England to search for family records and he found the church. The problem we had locating records was that some were spelled "Clark" instead of "Clack". My grandfather Cecil Douglas Clack and his wife Mabel traveled to the United States with my father and other son Cecil about 1914. What is your grandfather and fathers name? We have different spelling of Robina's last name. We have Dixon and you have Dickson. They both sound the same. The story we have is that Robina died and William was taking care of all the kids when he was hit by trolley car and died. I guess they were put in orphans home and as they got older some of them left England for Africa, South America and who knows where. I have doubts of ever finding where they went and they would all be dead by !
now so we would be looking for decendants. My cousin plans to go to England again to take up the search. Thanks for responding.
Margaret Clack Hamilton

Hi Margaret, I have just been sent your post. We must be related somewhere along the line, but I can't find a connection. The family names are not familiar to me. I have looked at my tree programme and have found William Henry - born or baptised 1837 Islington - married Robina Anne Dickson (no date or place) -born or bapt.1842. I also have Clack Reginald Douglas b. or bapt Devizes, Wilts 20/7/1931 (f. Reginald Douglas) - also Clack Reginald Douglas b. or bapt. 20/7/1896 Highworth, Wilts. (f. Reginald William). Not much I know. I also have much trouble finding rels. as the name changes are confusing! Best wishes Joyce

I have been trying for several years to locate my father's ancestry. My father, Reginald Clack born 1912, his father Cecil born 1882. Recently located records in England. I believe we are of the same family. My great-grandfather was William H. Clack born 1837 and his wife Robina A. (Dixon)Clack. They had 12 children-Alfred b.1869, Ernest H.1868, Frances R. 1864, Frank B. 1876, Frederick A. 1880, Helena R. 1870, Joseph W. 1878, Miriam E. 1872, Samuel C. 1874 and twins Mary and Charlotte 1878 who died maybe at birth.Cencus of 1881 England shows all but twins and my grandfather Cecil who was not born until after census.
