Looking back at old messages I came across :
'His dad Charles Clack b. abt. 1790 Broadwell, Oxford'
My gggrandfather was Edward Clack b. abt 1778 Broadwell.
Was Charles related?
Ellen,
I don't have an answer for you right now, but I think I may be able to help
when I can get to some files I have in storage. I have Catherine's
affidavit for her father's (David Smith) Revolutionary War pension. I
recall that there was information in there about at least some of
Catherine's children. I will flag this message and as soon as I can get
those files moved to my new house, I'll look it up for you.
Joe Harrington

Subject: [CLACK] Martha "Patsy" Clack 1817 Walton Co., GA
Martha "Patsy" CLACK was born 04 Jul 1817 in Walton Co., GA. She is the
daughter of George Washington CLACK (1788- bef. 1840) and Catherine SMITH
(1795-1960). To whom did she marry? I was told it was David Funderburg
(1823-1904) but I do not have a marriage record for them. Also, Martha is
enumerated in the 1850 census with her mother and the Martha married to
David Funderburg is the mother of several children before then. Unless
Martha married between Aug (Walton Co) and Oct (Talbot Co) 1850 census and
the older children are not her biological children. Any
help? Thank you very much! Ellen Martin

Greetings,
James CLACK married Amanda Jane HARRISON (1832-1892) on 05 Aug 1852 in
Walton Co., GA. Their daughter, Amanda Jane CLACK (1869-1936) married
Howard Randolph WILLIAMS (1856-1911).
When and to whom was James CLACK born? The 1860 census has him born ca 1830.
I found a family tree on ancestry.com that has him born in 1824 and listed
as the son of George W. CLACK (1788- bef. 1840) and Catherine SMITH
(1795-1860) of Walton Co., GA. Where is James CLACK and his wife buried?
Can anyone help straighten this out for me? I'd appreciate it very much.
Thank you,
Ellen Martin
