My grandfather was Lionel Clack (born Wilfred Lionel) in 1912 in Stroud. His father was George Henry Clack born 1873 in Beckford and his mother was Lilly Clark.
George's father was Thomas Henry - born 1850 in Filkins and his mother was Sarah Mills. Thomas' father was Robert Clack born 1824 and his mother was Mary Ann Cook born in 1826. Both were from the Stroud/Filkins area. I am researching my family tree
so any info would also be helpful.

I am trying to trace Benjamin Clark's family. He was born on August 16, 1776 possibly NY. He married on Dec 8, 1801 in Fulton or Montgomery Co, NY to Maryan unknown surname although Clark was given in the family bible which is in the care of Richard T Clark in Nebraska. She was born on Feb 8, 1782 maybe in NY d. Unknown.
They had four children:
1. Alexander Clark b. April 29, 1804 Johnstown NY d. May 7, 1804 Johnstown NY.
2. Alexander Clark b. Aug 16, 1805 Johnstown NY d. Jan 17, 1885 Fowlerville MI. He married on Aug 29, 1827in Prattsburg, Steuben, NY to Elizabeth "Betsy" Beebe b. 1804 Solon NY d. Apr 23, 1885 Fowlerville MI. Betsy was the daughter of Roderick Beebe and Elizabeth Mather.
3. Samuel Clark b. Aug 25, 1807 Johnstown NY d. Aug 27, 1809 Johnstown NY.
4. Anna Clark b. Mar 23, 1813 Johnstown NY d. Unknown
When Benjamin died in 1815 in Ontario Co, NY, a Joseph Phelps was given guardianship over Alexander and Anna in Ontario NY. We found a Joseph Phelps living in Steuben Co, NY at this time so we think it was him. We do not know how he is related to the family. We have no idea what happened to Maryan Clark after her husband died.
