I have microfiche transcripts of Bampton PR's and thought the
following might interest you. Unfortunately, the baptisms only go up
to 1845, so it misses Fanny and Fred.

Edward CLACK "of Broadwell" & Frances TURNER. There was an Edward
CLACK bap at Broadwell 07 Apr 1776, s of Edward & Sarah. No other
children appear as baptised by this couple at Bampton.]
16 Dec 1832 buried Fanny CLACK age 50 [a guess?]
17 Jan 1843 m David CLACK s of Edward & Jane DEWE dau of Joseph
14 May 1843 bap David CLACK s of David & Jane, lab
30 Mar 1845 bap Emily CLACK dau of David & Jane, lab

Thanks so much. I have been away because of death in family and just got home
and can't really think genealogy right now but i thank you for what you sent.
Sandy
Harlee has been pproven to be aan unreliable source, Spencer and Moses are
not brothers. There are James and Johns and several Spencers.
Edna Clack is aa far more credible source.

Hello Sandy,
I hope this will help.
The following data is from KINFOLKS, Vol. 3, by Harllee, and is marked
uncertain, but here goes:
James Clack, b. 1727 Gloucester Co VA, son of James Clack II and Mary
Sterling, m. Mary Kennon, born 29 June 1728, d. before 1794. Their children:
1. James Clack m. Jane Maclin
2. Spencer Clack, b. ca. 1746, d. 9 July 1832 in Sevierville TN; m. Mary
Beavers on 2 November 1766 in VA.
3. John Clack, b. 1757 VA, d. 1833 in Giles Co TN, m. Sarah
Standifer/Sturdivant, b. 20 July 1758 in Bristol Parish VA.
4. Thomas Clack, moved to NC
5. Moses Clack, b. 1741, d. 1792, m. Susanna Tomson.
Here's what I have for the children of William Clack and Betty Twitty:
1. William Clack, b. 1758 Brunswick Co VA
2. Sterling Clack, b. 17 Nov. 1759 Brunswick, d. 6 Nov. 1837; m. Mary Wood 15
Aug. 1780.
3. Thomas Clack b. Brunswick
4. James Clack b. Brunswick, m. ____ Wright
5. David Clack b. Brunswick
6. Judith Clack b. Brunswick
7. George Washington Clack, b. 1782 Brunswick, d. ca. 1832, m. Catherine
Smith 9 Feb. 1795 (this is my line).
I have that Sterling Clack (No. 2 above), was married in Warren Co NC, and
moved to Sumner Co TN, and that his son John Twitty Clack, b. 29 Nov. 1791 in
Sumner Co TN, m. Cassandra Bell 13 Aug. 1809. I don't have that William and
Betty had a son John.
Good luck, and I hope this helps.
