Does any one have the marriage bond record for Elizabeth Clack and Benjamin Turner April 1791- that is mentioned by Edna Clack
as having witness Agnes B. Clack and surety James Clack.
Sure would like to know if this is accurate. Who was the Agnes B. Clack???
In Meckelenberg Co. VA will book 3 is a Henry Walker that married Martha Bolling and will names a Nancy Clack. I assume she is a daughter that married a Clack. Can anyone tell me anything about
Nancy?
Thanks Sandy
Hi:
Here is an interesting project for Hispanics who think that they have male
connections to Mexico. Most DNA projects are for single surnames but since the
Hispanic naming technique is different from the Anglo? method - males with
different last names may find they have the same Y chromosome of males of other
names. Thus, they are starting an all-over project for males with Mexican
background - a clever idea.
Share this with your Hispanic friends - they might want to join.
Regards
Nan

RE: [DNA] Genealogy of Mexico Surname Project
The Genealogy of Mexico Surname Project is now online.
This project is open to those who's Y-dna (father's father's father's...) line extends to Mexico. It is understood that it was the custom in Latin America to pass along a surname that may have come from the maternal side. With this in mind, with DNA it is possible to see relationships between people of different surnames which would extend back to rather small gene pool some 500 years ago just after the Conquest. These ancestors having the most descendants in Mexico.
