My father Reginald Clack born 10/11/12 in London died this year. His father Cecil, had 11 brothers and sisters all born in the London area. I haven't been able to find anything on them except for a note in the civil registry that Samuel born 9-15-83, in district Newbury was listed. The others are: Fannie 5/28/1863, Earnest 9/28/67, Alf 1-11-69, Nellie 2/15/70, Eva 12/26/71, Frank 5/11/75, Joseph 4/18/77, Fred 10/14/80 and my grandfather Cecil 2/18/82. There were twins Mary & Charlotte died at birth in 1878. The story is that they were orphaned and all went there different ways. My father was babtized at St. Andrews Church, Lambeth, Stockwell Green, subdistrict Stockwell. I have his original certificate . Perhaps you will have better luck with your relatives and it's possible we could be related. Thanks for writing.

Hello Margaret, the 1871 census document is handwritten and the micro fiche I saw at Bampton was not too good so my note of the entry may not be 100%. I wrote:
David Clack 54 Ag. Labourer
Eliza 33 Dressmaker
Fanny 6 Scholar
Fred W. 4 Scholar.
Your information is very similar - and I don't know the month of the Cenus. Can you tell me more please.

Just read your message regarding visit to Bampton and the dates you listed were fairly close to Fannie I am researching but she was born 5/28/1863 so would have been a few years older and my Fred was born 10/14/1880. If you have more info, would appreciate seeing it.
Thanks,
M. Clack Hamilton
