Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

The passage below was sent to me a year or so ago by Carroll Clabaugh, who is gathering research to publish. Other than passing it on, I cannot speak to it, other than that as I recall Martin came into the country as a "Glaboch", or something similar, not as Clabaugh.
"Just some evidence supporting my conviction of three distinct lineages. First - Martin Clabaugh of Pennsylvania. From research done and published by Frances M. Clabaugh Blair in 1991(copy in my possession), Martin Clabaugh was born in 1743 in Germany. He emigrated to America on the Ship Polly, arriving in Philadelphia on August 24, 1765. From my own research done and published in 1986, I wrote two chapters in my book on this Martin Clabaugh. Frances used some of my data in her book. Martin and Margaret had 14 children, all of whom were traced in my book. No connections to the Maryland Clabaughs."
