Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

My husband's family: Heyo Claassen 1840-1904 b. Gross Midlum (or Emden); his son Eielt (John) (1876-1948) b. Gross Midlum, came to Iowa 1893, d. Pomeroy, Iowa. Heyo had brothers John (sons Ludwig & Eielt), Luppe (came to U.S.)(sons Eielt, Sam, John, Claas;and Eimme (came to U.S. 1904) sons "Poppe" Otto, Eielt, David (b. 1888), Johann (b. 1889), Wilt, Luppe, Herman (b. 1896), Rino. My husband is the grandson of Heyo, son of Eielt: John b. Pomeroy, Iowa 1926. Could you be of this family?
