I have reason to believe Susan Cissel who was a ward of a Cissel in KY was and Indian as was her sister Sarh. They both were married to Nicholas Carter and he and Susan were my GG Grandparents. Their Daughter Minerva was of course my G Grandmother. She married James Walters. She died in Ky and he and his 2nd Wife moved to Piggott Ark where both died. I hit a stone wall of silence when I mention my belief in my Indian blood.

Henry A. Cissell then married Lucy Caldwell Fenton. She died 12-18-1880.
Henry A. Cissell married Mary Elizabeth Creal on 10-10-1882. They had one son John Milton Cissell. Some members of his family still live in Larue County Kentucky.
Henry A. Cissell was the son of Henry Cissell and Mary Magdalene Hutchins.
Still looking for information on Henry's father. He may be
the son of Ignatius Cissell JR. and Mary Bowles. Henry died in 1831. There was a Robert and Charles Cissell living in this area during this time. Robert was married to Mary Magdalene's sister.

Isn't the William F listed with Cecilia 36 years old? That would mean he was born around 1814. In the 1830 cenus Wilfred is listed with only two sons, 1 under 10 and one between 10 and 20. These would more than likely be Beneditus Joseph b 1819 and Benjamin Pius Peregrin b 1821. Both listed in baptisimal records. I don't have Union Co baptismal records prior to 1818. Maybe he and Raphael are listed in Washington, Co records.
