I do not have any siblings or parents of John Cichosz who came from Rudnick, Poland to Pennsylvania, USA around 1911 with his oldest daughter Victoria. Two years later his wife Rosalie (maiden name Cwiklinska )and two more children - Domanick and Carl came to USA and they all moved to South Bend, Indiana where a child Wanda was born in 1914 and then to Muskegon, Michigan where we live where my father-in-law Stanley Cihos, Sr. was born 5/1/1917. One son, Josef Cichosz born around 1906 was left be behind with an aunt and uncle and later came to Toronto, Canada and died there in 1957. There were two girls who died in Poland - Elizabeth and Sophie. I think John's full name was John Valtie Cichosz and his father lived to be 99 in Poland and was still living when John left in 1913. My father-in-law said he heard that his grandfather lost 7 sons in World War I. Does any of this connect with what you know?

Hi Eloise
I'm afraid it isn't the same person. My Cichos died in Germany in 1920. I don't know if he had siblings. Do you have any siblings or perhaps you know the names of his parents?
Best regards Laila
