My husband's grandfather from Rudnick Poland was john Cichosz (later Cihos) - emigrated 1911 to Penn. and later to South Bend, Indiana and then Muskegon, Mi. in 1916. He and wife Rosalie Cwiklinska Cichosz (Cihos) are buried here in Muskegon, Mi. Could this be your John Cichosz? Do you know parents and siblings?

Hi Eloise.
Thanks for the message. I couldn't tell you if there's any relation between the two families since you don't give me the names of Johns parents or sieblings and I don't have the names of more than one siebling myself. Do you think you can get me any further information?

My husband's grandfather was John Cichosz (later Cihos) who was born around 1873 in Rudnick, Poland and married to Rosalie ___ there. He came to Pennsylvania in 1911 with oldest daughter Victoria to work. Sent for others in 1913 - wife Rosalie, sons Carl and Domanick (Don) and moved to South Bend, Indiana. Another child Wanda born there in 1914, then moved here to Muskegon, Mi. and youngest child Stanley Cihos born 1917 here (my father-in-law). John died here in 1943 and buried at St Mary's Cemetery. Could they be brothers or cousins? Do you know of parents' names, siblings, or origin in Poland?
