Hi Cyndi,
Sorry to not get back to you sooner. Yes I've been to the Ellis Island
site. Those Raffaele Cianchettes are not my grandfather. He was only 11 or
13 when he came here. Concetta had a brother Dominic Susi who came here
first and then talked Dominic Cianchette into coming. No Dominic's parents
didn't come here. He had a cousin come, but I don't believe any brothers.
I saw Aunt Ethel last week, she's doing ok but had a real hard time. They
had her on medication so she doesn't remember much about the funeral and
all. I told her I had been in touch with you. She said she hadn't heard
from you in a long time. See has all the info that I have as I gave a copy
to each family. Also she has alot of info on her family the Morrisons that
you may want for your sons. I know she would be willling to share her
information with you. The book is about the Cianbro Corp. and has a little
family history in it, but has some incorrect information.
If you want any information from me let me know.
