Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Unless you have absolute proof that his name was John "S" Churchman, please take the "S" from his name. In the 1600's, as a rule, they were not give middle names. From my research in England, John Churchman did not have a middle initial to his name. Thank you, Alice Beard

She was married to John S. CHURCHMAN -i on October 14, 1696 in Chester Co, Pa.. Chester Monthly Meeting Minutes:
p. 80 28/7/1696 - "John Churchman expressed his intentions to marry Hannah Sary, dau. of Sarah Busby of Philadelphia Co., and requested a certificate." John S. CHURCHMAN -i was born in 1665 in Essex, England. He died in 1724 in Chester, Pa.. He was. Five of John and Hannah Churchman's children, would later marry five members of the Rev. Richard Browne's family. Dinah Churchman married one of his grandsons, Mercer Brown. Susanna, John, and Miriam Churchman each married one of the children of William Brown (grandson of Rev. Richard Browne) and his wife Hester Baker. William Churchman married one of the daughters of Daniel Brown (grandson of Rev. Richard Browne) and his wife Elizabeth Kirk.

I am trying to find any information for my wife. He father was Charles Lamon Churchman.Mother Alberteen James.Charles died in 1981. His father is thought to be Samie Lee Churchman and his Charles Laymon.Her father was supose to have a sister Ruth we think. Any help would help.
