Hello Fellow Church Family Researchers,
Waitstill Singleton Church is my six times great grandfather. He was
married to a woman named Sarah. He had a tavern in Bladensburg,
Maryland in the 18th century and was born and live his life in Prince
Georges County Maryland.
I have been told by a descendant that he was the illegitimate son of
Thomas Montgomery, the father of Brig. Gen Richard Montgomery after whom
Montgomery County Maryland was named. His mother was Hannah Church.
I would appreciate any information on these people.
