Hello Larry,
Thank you so much for your help. I'm sad to hear that he didn't have any family of friends present. Thank you for your participation in the Forgotten Heroes program as well, it's very kind of you to step up for our veterans.
Thank You again,
Loretta

Hello, I think I might be related to Melvin Wayne Church and I was wondering if you had any additional information on his passing?
Thank you for taking the time!

I thought I would put this information out in case it helps anyone:
Caleb Church (b 1741 Lancaster, MA) poss same married Tamer Warner 1762, had unk child 1763.
m. Elizabeth Walker in 1764 Bolton, Worcester, MA.
Children:
Hannah: 1765 Templton, Worcester, MA
Daniel 1766 Bolton, Worcester, MA
Joseph 1769 (christening) Leominster, Worcester, MA
Silas 1771 (christening) Lancaster, Worcester, MA
Jemima 1774 Chester, Windsor, VT
Ukn B&D 1775 Chester, Windsor, VT
Joseph Warner 1777 Chester, Windsor, VT
Annice 1779 Chester, Windsor, VT
Salome 1781 Chester, Windsor,VT
Huldah 1784 Chester, WIindsor, VT
The above Vermont records are from Rockingham Church records and cite children of Caleb and Elizabeth. Caleb was resident in Chester 1773 and freeman 1778. At some point after 1778 the family removed to Addison COunty, Vermont-Leicester and Starksboro. If there were other children, I have found no records. Caleb is not named after 1810, so likely died before 1820. His son Silas is my ancestor.
It is interesting to note that a Caleb Church is listed in both Leicester, Addison, VT and in Grantham, NH. THose of us with the possible Silas Church/Joanna Jenne connections may want to ponder on this.
Comments? Anyone else have connects to Caleb's other children aside from Daniel?

The Churches of Darsham, Suffolk, England are a branch of my family tree too. The earliest ancestors I've been able to trace are Samuel Church & wife, Sarah Feacy on one side & WIlliam Cockerall & wife, Mary Luff on the other.
My tree is public but the Church family was/is very prolific. I'm not sure where your branch fits in but you will probably find them if you spend some time following the Church line in my tree. There are some inconsistencies I haven't quite resolved yet but would love to hear from you if you have info that I don't or if I can supply anything that you are looking for.
