I'm the great granddaughter of Edna Church, who was born in Bozrah in 1885. She was the daughter of William A. Church and Cora Church; and William A. Church's parents were Peleg, b. 1827 and Lucy (b.1835) Church. Peleg's father was also named Peleg, born in 1794. This family is all from Bozrah, but I can't trace them any far back. I don't know whether this could be the family from which your family migrated. There is a Church Family Burying ground in Bozrah.
Anyway, this thread is very old, so I don't know if you are still around but thought I would give it a shot.

Have either of you heard of an Amos Church in your research? I'm trying to find out about Amos Church I believe b. 13 Jun 1791 in Connecticut d. 25 Sep 1832 in Indiana. Someone's tree on Ancestry had Amos's brother as Alanson but I haven't been able to find any sources to confirm or about his parents.
Thanks!
Dana
