Sorry, but I mixed up Harvey with his father Samuel A. Church.
Samuel A. Church was living with his own parents in 1880 Census as a widower and his new born son Harvey Tidwell Church was living with the parents of his mother, Bammy Bingham Church.
Alabama 'Bammy' Bingham Church died of Malaria in August 1880.
Samuel and Bammy didn't seem to have any other children unless they too were living with her parents in the 1880 Census.

Well, I found Samual A. Church as a widower in the 1880 US Census so the March 8, 1879 birthday for Harvey Tidwell Church would be correct.
Samuel A. Church married Alabama "Bammy" Bingham 21 December 1871. He remarried to Sue L. Latty 27 January 1881. Her younger sister Elluesa Bingham age 14 was living with the Church family in 1880 Census working as a seamstress.
Samuel A. Church was living with his parents on their farm in 1880 and Harvey Tidwell Church was living his his mother's parents on their farm.
Harvey was the son of George Brown Church & Alice Baker Church. I found another One World Tree for this family.

Hope this helps even more.

I typed "Assistant US Attorney Harvey Church" into google and got this in search results:
http://digital.library.okstate.edu/Chronicles/v017/v017p115.html
Scroll about 3/4 of the way down the screen and you will find him on Page 131 - Durant, Oklahoma
This will surely help. it also gives the 1879 birth date, which I think is wrong.

I found Harvey Tidwell Church and wife Gladys McIntire that he stated in his WWI Draft Registration.
They met living in the same very upscale boarding house in Warburton Ward 3, Latimer Co OK in 1910 Census. He was a Lawyer and the Assistant U.S. Attorney or Oklahoma.
Gladys O. McIntire was the d/o Thomas & Mary A. Dow McIntire and the 3rd of 7 children in 1900 Census.
I was not finding Harvey anywhere so I searched for Gladys and found them with his named misspelled as Harve D. Church but it is them.
In 1920 they are living in Degnan, Latimer Co OK without any children and Harvey is 39 and Gladys O. McIntire Church 33.
I cannot find them on http://www.findagrave anywhere.
I would think that an Assistant US Attorney would have quite a bit of information about his death in the papers and a long obituary. Sure can understand why a criminal would shoot him at his desk - successful prosecution - looks like it cost him his life.
Odd thing in this search is I am descended from both names - Church and McIntire - but not these 2. I don't think they had any children. I found Gladys O. McIntire One World Tree
http://trees.ancestry.com/owt/person.aspx?pid=127852783
This tree goes back to Nicholas 1695-1780 & Abigail Brown McIntire 1700-1785 in Frederick Co VA.
Hope this helps.

Someone has to put him in their system and they haven't yet and probably because no one has found data on him.
When you find him, you can input his data. It is possible that lots of people didn't know his middle name, so he may be in family trees but they don't know it's him.

You could contact the Oklahoma Dept of Vital Statistics with the information you have on him and ask if they have a death certificate for him and how much is the fee for a regular photo copy.

I know a relative existed, but cannot find a death certificate, newspaper story, grave marker, etc. It's like he never existed, almost. I did find a draft card. His name was Harvey Tidwell Church born in Hickman County, Tennessee. I have two birth years, 1881 and 1879, died 1933, in Oklahoma. Supposedly, he was shot while working at his desk. There are people who claim to have info on him in their trees listed on Ancestry, but no documentation. It's very frustrating. Any ideas?

I think you will find that a lot. I have found it with my oldest
ancestor, one person claims something and the rest of the world runs
with it. No documentation, no proof, according to dates it can't happen
but everyone has it. Nobody stops to check facts. It might start for
example as someone breaking a window and everyone that tells the story
adds a little bit more to it to make the story more interesting. Try
contacting the local newspaper or library of where it supposedly
happened and ask them if they have anything on it.

I am searching for more information on Alfred Church. I know his death date of 1863 from family notes. I also know that he was married to a woman named Ruth.
The one son that I know of is William A Church (possibly B - family handwriting is horrible) - he was born 11/6/???? in New York. Died May 27, 1896 in St Louis, MO in the big tornado.
Unsure of where he is buried, family notes say either Milwaukee (don't know the connection there) - or St Louis as one of the unknown as he doesn't show up on any of the lists of deceased that I have been able to find.
He married Marion Berry Barbier while living in Chicago. She was born 12/7/1869.
They had two children. A daughter (name unknown) who died as a small child or infant. Their son was Ralph Alvin Church.
We once had all of this information - but we suffered a great fire, and then the family bible with all the history was stolen in a robbery from one of the elders of the family. So we are starting at square one almost.
Any help or info that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Cassandra
