Just a thought..... if he was arrested and you have his name wouldn't
the court have a record of the conviction? Wouldn't this be a public
record? If so wouldn't it contain a lot of his personal information.....
address at the time, next of kin, ..... leading to electoral roles ect..
good luck
Marianne.

If you know anything or can send us in the right direction, that would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! :)

Hi. I am trying to find my husband's father for him.
Carroll Leo Church Sr (grandfather to Leo)
Carroll Leo Church Jr (father to Leo)
We have talked to other family members but he has apparently caught wind and flown away. He was born in the 50's sometime (he took off when Leo was very young). All we know is that he is white and that back in the 70's (maybe) he went to a Lynyrd Skynyrd concert in Florida and got arrested. I've also found out that supposedly Elizabeth's mom was Sarah Beckley. Was this Elizabeth also married to Richard Ogden?

I actually have just come across your John Kake Church again in my research. It seems that his father Isaac is the same Isaac in my family, that I am trying to connect to Richard Church. If you would like to email me, I can share what I have with you. I found this information in a book on the History of Cape May County, New Jersey.
My email is jalex7802(a)yahoo.com

Thanks for responding. I did come across the marriage date of a John K. Church and Rachel Ford, in South NJ marriage records, in case you don't have it. It's listed as 10/27/1847 at the Church of the Advent in Cape May, NJ. My Church family and my Isaac Church also come from Cape May. We might have a connection somewhere down the line. Please let me know if you come across my Richard Church, or the surname Keck.

Does anyone have any information on a Herbert James Church, born 1835 in
Connecticut? I don't have any other information on him at this point.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ross, please, please let me know if you find anything on the Indian line. have been trying to find this for years. My grandmother, Jessie Mae Passmore (daughter of Martha Ann Church) looked kind of Indian(high cheekbones, really dark eyes, olive skin, but not very dark) haven't been able to figure this out. Any help appreciated.

> Jane Church was born about 1810 in Ga or SC. She married Solomon Ray in 1829 in Henry co Ga. I am trying to find who Jane's parents were and if she was part native American. I think there is a chance her father was Benjamin Church born in the 1750's in NC and the son of Yankee JOhn Church. I believe Benjamin was the only son of Yankee JOhn that left NC and went to SC and then to Ga. Any help appreciated. Ross
