Sorry but I not sure who you are talking about. If you are talking about Louis Joseph Papineau that was involved in a resurrection. He would be too old. I also looked at his family tree and do not see an appropriate son married to Minnie that would match.

Could James White Church be connected to this family: Samuel Church m. Marah (Maria?) Jones 30 Nov 1774 in Farmington, Hartford CT; Samuel Church son of Samuel b. 5 Dec 1775, Farmington, Hartford CT. Perhaps James White, b. CT 1777 is another child of Samuel and Marah?
I have seen the Alanson name in Hartford CT records of the 18th century, often as neighbors to the Hooker family. Some of the Hooker family migrated to Maumee, Lucas OH in the 1830s, where they seem to have had close ties to several areas in MI, including Oakland, Bay and Eaton Counties.
Given what I have been reading in this thread, it would not be unreasonable to assume that Fannie Church who m. Nathaniel Eggleston Hooker might have been somehow descended from the family into which Samuel Alanson Church was born.
The Beach surname also turns up fairly frequently in connection with the 19th century Hooker family, not only in CT but also in OH and MI.
I would appreciate any insights or information on these connections.
Maureen

I googled Louis Papineau and found that he was a very big name in Canadian politics. Would this caregiver who m. Minnie Church be related to him, perhaps? If so, it might suggest that the Churches were caught up in political matters that might have moved them across the border (and encouraged them to keep secrets).

I found Emma Church buried with NO dates in Neosho, Newton County MO
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Church&GSfn=Emma&GS...
you may be able to contact the person who did the memorial and find out more information.
The only other Church in the Ragan Cemetery is M.H. Church 1832-1917 so I'm guessing this is your Milton Henry & Emma Amelia Swayze Church.
you should be able to get both their Death Certificates from the Missouri Dept of Vital Statistics and find out if she married Mr. Smith or not or if the Tombstone with no dates is because she is buried with Mr. Smith somewhere else as there are no Smith's buried there that are near her age.
The Dept of VS should also have her remarriage record to Mr. Smith.

Mary I am trying to find Mary Ann Bancroft of Romeo, Macomb County, USA Born Sept 3, 1834, died in Toledo,OH October 16, 1895 and buried in Sweetsburg, Missiquoi Cty, Quebec, CA. She married Henry Church (was his 2nd wife). Henry Church was born in 1815 probably in West Brome, Missiquoi County, Quebec and died June 16, 1892 in Sweetsburg, Missquoi County, Quebec. It turns out Henry Church came to Maumee, OH from 1852-1860 with his family and first wife. His health was never very good and was cared for my Louis Papineau. Louis Papineau married a Minnie Church. They have a daughter Mattie Mosler that is baptised on the same day Mary Bancroft (an adult) is baptised and Minnie Church is a sponser to both. There must be a connection here some place. Too many names and places tied together here.

If you look at all the Genealogies Anjou did in his short career you would notice that he would have had to work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week 365 days a year to complete any of them and then he would have had quite a few on the go at any one time. That is why he is a fraudster. Richard and Ann is not my direct line but I have done enough research to know about Anjou and if you are going to use his work as a reference you are going to run into trouble.

Try searching http://www.findagrave.com
I found it helps just to input the Surname without first names plus the state and county and if I still don't find the person I'm looking for, I leave off the county name.
Sometimes, folks live close to a county line and they were or are now buried in the next county (maybe a newly formed county a while after the buriel).
It helps when you click on a name to also click on the 'view all interments' and type in the surname and see all the same family buried there.
I found an Abram Church b.1790 in Hickman Co TN in "Church" Cemetery...
Hope this helps.

Greetings All,
I have been researching my Church line since 1996. I ran across some of your postings regarding Henry Church. I thought maybe my ancestor could possibly connect to yours. However, if it's like the norm, it won't. LOL
I thought maybe you could check your data base and see if you see anything ?
My GG Grandfather was Robert Henry Church b. Sep. 13, 1822 or 1832 d. Apr. 23, 1907 or 1909 in Obion Co. TN. He went by the name of Henry Church. Believed to have had a brother named Emory Nicholas Church b. 1839 in Williamson Co. TN, d. in Davidson Co. TN in 1912. Also believed to have another brother named Abram W. Church b. 1838 TN. Their parents names I do not know. They were born in NC somewhere. I think their parents could be a Arthur & Elizabeth Inman Church, but that's just a guess.
My Great Uncle who was a Church, once told a cousin of mine that Robert Henry Church's Father or Grandrfather lived to be 102. So when I saw that your Henry Church lived to be 109 , it made me wonder.
Any help would be great
Sincerely,
Eddie Church
