Hello!
My primary interest is in Mildred Mary, born ca. 1899, as she was my paternal grandmother. My siblings and I understand that she was adopted, which makes finding information difficult.
She married Lewis Lamont Brace (my grandfather) in 1918, and had a son, Lewis Lamont Brace, Jr. (my father) in 1919. At some point, she left them under undisclosed circumstances, later had another family (unknown new married name), and apparently died young, possibly due to an overdose of something, possible suicide.
If this sounds like someone in your family tree, please contact me at aaronbrace(a)mac.com. Thanks! -Aaron

And you ahve records back into 1690s.
I have the BTs for Speen, and a BFHS index for Peasemore.
What exactly do you seek? I am able to look at these films when next I am at the local FHL. WHat shall I be looking for? His birth? Do you have an approximate birthdate?
I presume you have the civil marriage record for the 1873 marriage in Stockcross. Ought'nt that record have provided his parents' names and abode?

Hello Barry,
Thanks very much for making yourself known to me.
Right then, I have records back to 1690 for the Church family but I am particularly interested in Thomas Church who is my GGGrandad.
He married Louisa Waters in Stockcross in 1873 but for some unexplained reason he took Louisa's surname.
Their son James used the surname Church Walters which has caused considerable confusion.
Please contact me again so I can prepare myself a little better.
Best Wishes - Dave Bennett

I'm still looking for my Gideon Church, b. about 1775 probably in NY, died
in 1837, in Warren, Washington, or Saratoga Co, NY. Mar. Phebe Ferris, about
1800 in one of the above counties- they had 10 children, all of whom I can
trace. What I can't find is Gideon's parents. Phebe seems to have been in
Dutchess Co, also, but no trace of Gideon. Thanks, Barb in St Pete
