A few years back I did extensive research on my family tree. I went into MyFamily, where I had it stored, and it is no longer there. Rootsweb and Ancestry.com hide all the living people. This year I made a movie from our family reunion and as a gift I wanted to send everyone a copy of the family tree. Problem is I dont have it anymore. Is there anyone that has a family tree starting from James Arthur Church back? If so would you be able to share it with me?
Thank you so much,
Vicke

Two of my gg-grandparents were Nathaniel Crain, born in Kentucky, and Mahaley Church, born in Clay Co., Missouri. I don't have birthdates, but I do know that their daughter Amelia Crain was born 18 Feb 1849, in Clinton Co., Missouri. So probably both Mahaley & Nathaniel date from the 1820's, probably not earlier than 1810.
That's all I know. If anyone out there recognizes Mahaley, or Nathaniel, please let me know.

I am searching for information about my 3 great grandfather William Church b abt 1778 poss Hartford or Litchfield Ct, m Helen Olcott (daughter of Joseph Olcott and Elizabeth Marsh) 1802 in Hartford, d Jan 1836 in Hartford Ct. brp unknown. Children include Wealthy Ann (m. Justin Prior lived in Mo, N.Y., Boston, Hartford), Nancy (m. Ira Bidwell), Maria (m Franklin Bolles lived in Windsor, Ct), William, Caroline (m. John Crane), Calvin, Horace, Jane (m. Henry N. Hart). Abt 1843-45 several of the children lived in St Louis MO, or Cincinnati/Akron, Ohio. I simply can not find a shred of information about his parents. Given that the Olcott family was a notable family in Ct, seems like there should be something out there!!

Hi. I'm looking to connect with cousins descended from the family of Albert N. Church. I met one once before I knew he was a relative. He looked just like a closer cousin, and my great-grandfather.
Mary Lucinda Strong was the daughter of Samantha Winchell and Isaac Strong. She was born ca 1852 in the Town of Great Barrington. She married Albert N. Church 20 Nov 1872 in the same town. He was born ca 1850. I have two children listed for them. Their son Floyd was born ca 1878. He married Lucy. Their daughter Charlotte was born ca 1895.
Everyone lived in the village of Housatonic in the Town of Great Barrington
Hello All -
While browsing the archives for this list, I read several messages
"gatewayed" from a message board concerning the Warren/Church
connection.
First, and please excuse if this is a "silly" question, but from where
were those messages gatewayed ??
And, if I might join in the current thread -- I'm wondering if anyone
has anything on the Charles Church marriage to Lillis Bowen, producing
daughter Frances, time frame mid-to-late 1700's. Am mostly interested in
the marriage of Frances to Joseph Hardy.
Charles took his family to Nova Scotia in 1783 and the line remained
there until my mother's birth in MA in 1924.
I think I have the lineage straight, but there seems to be some problem
with the marriage of Frances and Joseph.
I've been on this list before, a few years ago - a lot of great Church
researchers shared what they knew with me. I'm wondering if there's
anything new -- any new records posted/transcribed that might help
confirm this marriage??
Thanks in advance folks, for any insight you can share --- Terri in WA

I went to LDS site, Family Search, it gives a lot of lines, I took pictures of a lot of the graves at Little Compton but don't have time to see if Charles was with them, his grandfather's and gr grandfathers were crypt's and could still be read as well as a couple of children buried next to Thomas, Alice and Benjamin. Your Charles would be sixth generation I believe, write to Plymouth or go to Mayflower site run my a Johnson, I believe his name is Caleb, you could ask him as he is also a decendent of Richard Warren.
