This is almost certainly a match. From other records, it seems that William Church is the son of George. William was born about 1819, in Ireland. Moved to Canada, and ultimately settled in Wellington.
Contact me to share more data. I'd really like to know more about the Churches.

I have been researching for over four years now trying
to learn the names of my great-grandfather's parents
and siblings. I could use more info about this one man, please.
Samuel was born in NC (1800-1810) and died inTN prior to the 1860 census. He was the son of Joshua
and Priscilla Church. His wives included Elizabeth
Campbell and Eve Weaver.
According to the 1850 TN census for Franklin County,
Samuel had these children: Joshua, Minerva, Washington, Lucinda, Priscilla, Elizabeth and Mary Ann.
Samuel had a first wife who gave him the children that are on the 1830 census. One of these was born at
the right time to have been my great-grandfather.
If you are a descendant of one of these, would you be
kind enough to contact me. You just might be able to supply the unknown pieces of my puzzle.

I ordered mine from the Barnes & Noble bookstore. Please be advised that
there is no index. You have to look page by page to find a name. If I
could find an indexing program, I would index it myself.

Thanks for the reply. I do have Alice Church's book and since posting the question I have also gotten Lucius Boltwood's Genealogies of Hadley Families which corroborates that info. Thanks very much for your response.
