Rachel CHURCH (b 1792 in England; died 1876 in Michigan,USA) married in New York City, New York on or about Dec 1810 to Benjamin F. MOON (b 1791 in New Jersey, died 1864 in Michigan, USA).
Rachel evidently had several siblings, all born in Berkshire, England ....John, James, Thomas, Sophia, Maria, Jeremiah, Obadiah, Lucy and William. The parents look to be Thomas and Martha COOPER MOON.
Anyone help fill in any information on this family?
I do not find that name in the Simeon Church book. There is a similar name "Theodosia Church" daughter of Titus Church. The book says she married Chester Darbe and they resided in Perryburg, Catts Co., NY.

I felt like I had to share this article with some of the other lists in case they had some relatives in this cemetery. I certainly hope they find the culprits.

Searching for info about the names of the parent so foJane Church who married Solomon ray in 1829 in Henry co ga. I believe her father was Benjamin Church who was born in 1763 in rowan co NC and went Wilkes co Ga in 1773 then to SC where he probaly married and then went to Franklin co Ga by 1818 and then to Habersham co Ga by 1820 then to Fayette co Ga by 1827 then to Campbell co Ga by 1830. He probaly died in the 1830's in either Campbell co Ga or Habersham co Ga. I do not know for slure if Benjamin Church was Jane Church's father but I think there is a strong possibility that he was. Any info about Benjamin church or Jane Church would be appreciated. Thanks

I am just starting my Church family research. I am attempting to gather information and or leads on a Elijah Church. I believe Elijah was born about 1772 and died about 1853. He married Elizabeth Wentworth.
Their only child I have information on is: Lydia Church, born 1809 in Brown County, Ohio and died 1883 in Brown County, Ohio. She married John B. Campbell.
There is a possibility that Elijah moved from New York to the Aberdeen, Ohio area about 1812.
Any information and or leads on Elijah Church, his family, sibilings, and parents will greatly be appreciated.
RE: Guy Lewis Church You may be able you find the birth or death records post 1908 at the Ohio Dept of Vital statistics. You can request copies on line. There are some records from 1860 on held at court houses. Ashtabula county seat is Painesville, Clark Co is Springfield, and Richland County is Mansfield. Consider also contacting the County Historical Societies. They frequently have indexes to church records that they are willing to check for you.Carol HaueterCHURCH-D-request(a)rootsweb.com
