If you're searching for CHURCH in Connecticut & Massachusetts, please
check out my site at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~jdevlin/
I just did a search and found 313 hits for CHURCH. Some of these are going
to be for actual churches rather than the surname, but there are close to 600
data files on the site, so I hope there is information of interest for all.

Emily, I am not sure who Ellenora Harkins' parents and siblings were. They got married in 1872 but I can't find her on the 1870 Habersham Co GA census. She could be my GGGrandfather John B. Harkin's niece - possibly daughter of James B. Harkins but I don't know, but she is not his sister.

Thanks,

Hi Jane
Thanks so much for the reply. Would you know if Jane church born 1807-1810 tht I am researching was a descendent of Richard Church? I was almost sure that her father of grandfather was Yankee John Church if you are familiar with him because so many of his children's names were the same as the children's names of Jane Church and Solomon Ray's children's names. They married in 1829 in Henry co Ga. and went to Alabama in the early 1830's. I found census reports that listed he state of birth as NC and some that said Ga. I did find one site that said Yankee John Church had a number of children with his second wife Jane Andrews and one post said his last daughter born was named Jane Church but it also said he died in 1806 but some posts say he died in 1811. Jane Church would have been born 1807-1810. I can not find any information about Jane Church, his last daughter born. Some post do not list a daughter named Jane so I just don't know. Would you have any information that would h!
elp me? I have researched this one person for six months and no researcher has any information at all about her. Thanks, Ross
