Searching for the names of the parents of Jane church born 1807-1809 in NC or Ga. She married Solomon Ray in 1829 in Henry Co Ga. I assume her parents lived in Georgia in 1829 when she married but I am not sure. There are no Church familys listed in the 1830 Henry Co Ga census. Thanks Ross

Hi Randy
Could you help me please? My ancestor was Jane Church born 1807-1809 in NC or Ga. She married Solomon Ray in 1829 in Henry Co Ga. I am searching for her parent's names but can not who they were. They went to Alabama and she list her place of birth as Georgia on one census and NC on another so I don't know. I assume her parents were living in Georgia in 1829 but maybe not. If you have Jane Church born 1807-1809 in your records would you please e-mail me. Thanks Ross

THIS BOOK INCLUDES A NUMBER OF THE CHURCH FAMILY
Thank you for your interest in the reprint of the
Woodie-Woody Book which was first written by Verl M.
Weight in 1960. It is now ready for shipping. We
have spent 300+ hours at the computer and proofreading
this work. We have tried to copy it as accuratly as
possible. The hard part was to copy it exactly as was
first written, spelling errors and all. I'm sure we
didn't catch them all, but we are only human. The
book is a total of 316 pages where the original was
296 pages. We think you will find this one is easer
to read. It is plastic comb bound for better turning
of the pages.
The cost of the book is $36.00 plus $4.50 shipping and
handling. (US POSTAL SERVICE-BOOK RATE) NC residents
please add .065% sales tax ($2.34). Total for NC
Residents $42.84. Non NC Residents $40.50.

Russell Melvin Church, b. 29 Nov 1823 in Canada, died 20 April 1900 in Huntsville, Madison, AL. I have descendants, but not parents. He lived in Clinton, IA, for much of his life and was a Civil War soldier. Does this connect at all? Thanks. Hal.
Ross,
I do not show a Jane as a daughter of Yankee John Church in my information.

Seeking information on and descendants of Frank or Franklin
Church, b. ca 1860 Coffee Co., TN, to Benjamin Franklin Church and Mary
Caroline Thompson Church. One of 5 sons, he moved to Parker Co., TX, and
lived near brother James F. Thomas Church and his family (according to
family story passed down). Next he moved to St. Louis, MO. Later he
left for NY. The family lost contact with him and never heard from him
again. He was a barber. Any information appreciated very much.
Maureen -
I got pretty excited for you as I read this morning's post on the
Church mail list -- thought you might've struck pay dirt!!
Guess we'll both just have to keep looking for our Fannies and hope
that some day .......
Terri
(looking for a Fannie Church also - daughter of Charles Church and
Lillis Bowen)
