William Isaac Church was born 06 15 1852 in Cannon Co., TN, and died 02
16 1938 in Marshall Co., TN. On 06 25 1878 he married Mary Bell Crunk
(b. 1861 d. 1899). Their children included William Frank (1882-1954),
Kittie Margaret (1885-1907), Albert Washington (1887-1969), Minnie Bell
(1891- 1970), Maudie Christine (1893-1931), and Willie (or Millie) White
(1896-1970). On William Church's death record, his father's name was
listed as Frank and his mother's was unknown, the information being
supplied by son, Albert. I think William Church is a brother of my great
grandfather, John Marion Church, and would like to correspond with
descendants.

In the 1800 census there is an Eli Church in Oneida, CO. NY
By 1830 he was in Seneca, Ohio.
The children known at this time are Eli N. Church and John C. Church.
Both sons moved from Ohio in the late 1840s to Mahaska CO, Iowa.
Any information as to Eli's spouse, parentage, and, etc., would be so
appreciated.
Thank you for your help,
Karen

Surname: CHURCH, STURTEVANT, LINDSEY, MCGUIRE, DORRANCE
-------------------------
George was born in 1877 in RI. He was the son of Henry and Sarah Sturtevant.
Sarah left Henry and married Charles CHURCH. Charles adopted George and
George used the CHURCH surname as his own. Charles, Sarah and George along
with Charles and Sarah's daughters: Leonie and Alice, moved to Auburn NY
around 1897. George is listed as a soldier in the 1900 Federal Census and
by 1909 he had removed to South America. I'm curious if he married later
on or if he was killed in S. America. That would have been around the time
of the Nicaraguan conflict.
Thanks
This was in Tues, 8 May, Springfield MO News Leader, p. 5B:
Discovery of cemetery halts roadwork--Associated Press-Kansas City--
Construction of a new highway in south Kansas City has been halted by the discovery of a small cemetery dating back to the Civil War era. State officials are anxious to find any descendants of the Holloway family who are bured in the cemetery. If the heirs can't be found, the state will have to get court permission to move the nine graves in the plot, in order to finish a new Missouri 150.
Construction workers recently unearthed a marble headstone, dating from 1858, while moving a large section of water pipe.
Archaeologists later found another headstone and evidence of seven other graves. The site has not been disturbed further.

England, Married Elizabeth Cross, from Indiana. He died in
October of 1888. Would be greatful for any help.
Is anyone researching the family of Luman and Fiche McNeil? They were listed in the 1850 Oxford Twp., Chenango Co. census. I would be interested in knowing the names and birthdates of their children.
Fiche was the sister of my GGG-grandfather, David Church, and they were the children of John and Ann Hollenbeck Church. Thanks.
