B.F. Goodrich was Benjamin Franklin Goodrich. Do you have a Sally Church? Sally Church married Bela Goodrich who was a descendent of William Goodrich and Sarah Marvin. B.F. Goodrich was also a descendent. I believe the relationship would have been distant cousins.

I descend from Stephen and Mary (Church) Burdick through their son Joel. A couple of years ago, I spent quite a bit of time researching Mary, and she remains one of my most frustrating brick-walls.
I agree that Mary seems to fit in perfectly with the family of Caleb and Rebecca (Brand) Church, with one major exception: Rebecca Church's will, dated 13 December 1762 and proved 12 February 1763, Charlestown, names her daughter as "Mary Kinyon".

Don't know anything about Richard of Hadley, but those who want a first class genealogy of the descendants of Richard of 1608, who married Elizabeth Warren, will find it in MAYFLOWER DESCENDANTS THROUGH FIVE GENERATIONS, Vol 18, Parts 1 and 2. This Richard's wife was dau of Richard Warren, a Mayflower immigrant.

Don't know how much research you have done on this. Everyone seems to be trying to find her parents. I traced out the genealogy of Richard Church m Elizabeth Warren of Plymouth and found a Caleb Church who was born 5/29/1703 In Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA, md Rebecca Brand (also of Watertown) 9/16/1731 in Westerly, Washington Co., RI. Their children, as given in LDS Ancestral File (FamilySearch website) were Caleb (b1732), Joshua (b1734), Charles (b1736), Samuel (b1738) and Isaac (b c1740).
I think think this is very likely Mary Church's family. A) the dates fit perfectly; B) I have not found another Church family in Westerly yet; C) Mary named two of her children Caleb and Joshua.
Vol. 18, Part II of the MAYFLOWER DESCENDANTS THROUGH FIVE GENERATIONS should cover this family, and may reveal some girls not listed on the Ancestral File.
Do share with me any work you have done in researching this family.

Hi Claudine,
Which Richard Church? My husband is a descendant of Richard Church who
served in the House of Burgess and owned land in what is now Norfolk
County, VA.

Good Morning,
I am a Church researcher attempting to collect everything possible on the
Church families of Colonial Virginia. A great deal of work has been done on
the Churches of New England, but very little on the families in Virginia. If
you have any data that you would like to share with me, I'd appreciate it
greatly.
