Does anyone have any information on these Church families?
Mary B. Whitmarsh wife of C. J. Church born July 18, 1840
Thomas H.Watchorn 1860-1930, his wife Mildred L. Church 1865- 1941
W. Rorison ( Roy) Church 1880-1939, (I assume this is some relation to
Basil/Barzil)
Mary G. Church 1867- 1947,
John M. Church 1869-1948 }
These are all Merrickville Church's. I am looking for a connection between
the Church's of Oliver & Malachi's family to Oliver and Margaret's family.
Any information would be appreciated.

Am looking for information on Charles U. Church who was born around 1859
to James and Mary (Dorrance) Church. James and Mary moved to Glocester,
RI, but James came back to CT after their divorce. James remarried, and
Charles came back to live near him in Norwich, CT. He married Sarah Sturdivant
around 1880.

Surname: Church, Rich, Fuller, Richard
-------------------------
Am looking for information on Azel Church and his son, also Azel, both
of who died in St. Albans, Vt. Azel 1 was born in 1765, and Azel 2 was
born in 1792 and was the father of my gggrandfather William. Have found
information on the net saying he was the son of Samuel Church and Elizabeth
Fuller, however it also lists Elizabeth as dieing years before his birth
(seems a bit improbable!)Both Azels are buried at the Greenwood cemetary
in St. Albans, as is Erastus Church.
Getting very frustrated trying to make a connection here! Help would be
enormously appreciated!
Does anybody have a marriage date for Oliver Church and Rhoda Smith? I
would guess that it is in the 1819 - 1820 era. I know Oliver and Catherine
Hulsiger married March 7 1865 and Catherine's parents are Michael Castor
and Elizabeth Miller but I haven't found anything for Oliver and Rhoda as
marriage goes. Any takers?

I have a couple questions for the Church researcher here. I received this
message from a researcher and I don't seem to have them in my data base.
Who is Alice Smith? She could be the daughter in law of William & Lydia
Church wife of Oliver but this Oliver to my knowledge died in Michigan in
1915, so possibly Oliver moved there after his wifes death 5 years earlier.
Oliver Jr. had a son Oliver who married a Sarah Haggerdy and Oliver Jr.
himself married Rhoda Smith, so she does not fit into this family. Also who
is this Barzil? His marriage doesn't seem to match any of the Barzil's I
have. I ask this question because I am looking for Josephine who in 1871 is
shown living with Oliver Church and Catherine Hulsiger in Upper Canada. I
sure could use some help with my Church family as they get pretty
complicated living and following the Loyalist Church's around. I know
Oliver and Margaret's family moved to Huron County Michigan but can someone
tell me if any of the Loyalist Church's from Upper Canada also migrated
down to Michigan?

According to a record in a LDS Ancestral File, Joshua MOORE (1682-unk) of New
London, CT, son of Abel and Hannah (Hempstead) MOORE, m. abt. 1710 Susanna
CHURCH (1686-unk) of New London. This is the only record I've found which
names Joshua Moore's wife. Based upon the sometimes questionable accuracy of
the LDS Ancestral Files, can anyone (1) provide evidence and/or documentation
of the marriage of Joshua Moore to Susanna Church, and (2) identify Susanna
Church. What is known of her parents and family? All help appreciated.

I am looking for information about my gg grandparents. I know my gg grandmother
was of Cherokee heritage but have
been unable to find out what her name was. I know they had a total of seven
children, five sons and two daughters. Their names were Samuel, Kennis,
Frank, Matthew, Lewis/Louis, Alice, and I can't seem to find the name of
the other daughter. I found a listing for Samuel Church with a land deed
dated in 1704 in Northampton county, Va. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'd like to hear from anyone with connections to my line.

Good evening Church cousins. On June 17 at 1:00 pm there will be a
headstone dedication for Pvt. William M. Church, CSA and his wife Rachel
Stidham Church. The cemetery is the Fields cemetery just 200 yards south of
the Canonsburg, Ashland exit off I-64 in Boyd county KY. Rt. 180.
William was the g-grandson of Yankee John. He served with the 51st. Va.
Inf. for the whole of the Civil War. The local Civil War re-enactment group
in Ashland, Ky has agreed to do a military ceremony, complete with bagpipes
for the dedication of the new headstone. William and Rachel's grave had
been unmarked for many years, and a new headstone has been put in place.
Williams line is Yankee John/Joel/Gabriel
I would invite anyone who would like to come, to please do so. There will
be several members of the Church genealogy family there and it is a great
place to just sit and talk. If you would like more information please
contact me at dlchurch(a)bright.net
There is an outdoor Civil War Drama in Grayson Saturday evening just a few
miles away and one of the Civil War re-enactment group has offered to try to
come up with tickets if anyone is interested in going. Let me know if you
would like to go so that I can give him a count.
Hope to see and talk with new Church cousins. Who knows this may be the
start of a new Church reunion.

I am seeking the names of the parents and siblings of Benjamin
Franklin CHURCH, b. TN ca 1828, m. 1848 Cannon Co., TN, to Mary Caroline
THOMPSON, b. TN ca 1830. They were in Rutherford Co., TN, along with
their infant son, John M., in 1850. By 1860 they were living in Coffee
Co., TN, with their sons: John, William, James Thomas, and Franklin. Son
Calvin was born in 1861. By 1870, Franklin (the father) was out of the
picture. Later Caroline married David PRINCE in Coffee Co., TN. I
would like to correspond with anyone connected with this family.
